Diverse Learning Environments
Tiny Hornet's
Our Tiny Hornet room is designed to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment for children 18 months- 2 1/2 years old. We understand these are the early years and a rapid time of growth and development so our caregivers focus on meeting each child's need with gentle attention and care. From sensory play to music, stories, and plenty of cuddles, we encourage physical, emotional and social development to encourage important developmental milestones.
Happy Hornet's
Our Happy Hornet room for children ages 2 1/2 to 3 years old is designed with an exciting balance of structured learning and play. At this stage children are eager to explore their independence, practice social skills and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Our teachers guide little learners through age appropriate activities that promote early literacy, number recognition, and problem solving, while also encouraging creativity through art, music and imaginative play. We also focus on life skills such as sharing following directions and self help routines such as washing hands and potty training.
Mighty Hornet's
Our Mighty Hornet room for children ages 3 to 4 years old is designed to spark creativity, curiosity and independence and a love for learning. At this stage, children are developing stronger language, problem-solving and social skills. We focus on hands-on activities promoting cooperation and critical thinking. Daily lessons introduce early literacy, pre writing, numbers, concepts and science exploration while circle time and group play help strengthen teamwork.
Hive Leader's
Our Hive Leader's room for children ages 4 to 5 years old is designed to prepare little learners to a smooth and confident transition into kindergarten. At this stage, children are eager to explore, question, and build on what they have already learned, so our program emphasizes early reading, writing, math and problem-solving through hands-on learning activities. We foster teamwork, leadership skills, and self-regulation strategies through group projects, imaginative play and circle time. Teachers also foster academic and social success as children get ready for their next big step in their education journey
